It's ok, but I guess it's personally just not for me. It's too glitchy and unfriendly to listen to or party to. It's not even close to the same league as Girl Talk and the Hood Internet. Just wanted to drop my absolute favorite mash-up album to date: DJ Food (aka Strictly Kev)'s Raiding the 20th Century. It goes a step above the other mash-ups I've heard in that it actually tells the history of sampling, all the way from musique concrete and avant-garde classical (Steve Reich et al) to hiphop, electronic music and modern mashups. It also has a narrator (bonus!) and has some excellent interviews with sampling pioneers. Haven’t heard this album yet but I’ll definitely check it out.
