High Speed Skateboarding in Claremont

I

n case you were ever wondering what it would look like to film a near-death experience, you’re in luck. This is probably the most bad ass skateboarding video that I’ve ever seen. I literally held my breath during a few parts. This high-definition clip, filmed by Adam Kimmel, features three bearded men dressed in purple suits with no helmets skateboarding at over 50mph. In some parts of the video, they are seen heading toward oncoming traffic. I think we have ourselves a checklist of awesome. Here’s a map highlighting the route that they took. Watch the video (navigate to 2:24 if you want to cut right to the skating).

This was actually a promo video for his Spring/Summer ‘09 line of suits.

Taking “fast fashion” a bit too literally?

Maybe. Maybe not. Definitely badass, though.
