I see what you’re saying about the rush song but heaps of classic bands (the beatles, stones, etc…) have released plenty of crap music… and rush is still more popular than you are… actually so is britney spears…
I know your whole thing is about dumb rap lyrics but that is basically redundant as most rap song lyrics are very dumb…
… most song lyrics of every genre are dumb cause they are bad wanna be poets…

You’re right. It does take courage to be a fan of Rush, much like it takes courage to smell milk that’s been sitting in the fridge for too long. Of course Rush was top 40 at one time. But not anymore, because their awesomeness didn’t leave any room for the other awesome bands of their era. Like Triumph.
