I agree that their self titled album on average sounded better than this, but I’ll hold off on judgment until 2010. I like weird quirky music, like Architecture in Helsinki, but I don’t think this song does it very well. My first impression of them I thought they were douchebags that dropped out of some rich university and sang songs trying to sound witty and educated while riding on Mommy and Daddy’s Trust fund. But I heard the Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa cover by Hot Chip / Peter Gabriel and decided to give them another chance, not passing judgment so quickly this time around.
