Yes… some new Fleet Foxes has made its way onto the internet. The song is titled “Helplessness Blues” and it gives us a fresh dose of that classic Fleet Foxes sound. It’s a cut off of their upcoming second album of the same name.

Good news, fellow Oberst worshipers!

NPR is streaming Bright Eyes’ new album The People’s Key, a month prior to its debut in March. Take a listen now, that’s what I’m doing this very moment!

I’m only one track in, so far it’s somber and a militant. The religious tones are so Conor, it makes me smile.

Tell us what you think!

wait-what
Listen to this new track from mashup artist Wait What. It’s got Willow Smith’s breakout hit “Whip My Hair” pitted against dubstep musician Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites.” Pretty sick mix if you ask me.

coachella-2011-lineup

The official lineup for the 2011 Coachella Music Festival has finally been released. There was much speculation leading up to today as to who would be playing at the Indio, California-based festival, but that’s all been put to rest now. Most of the artists that had big years in 2010 are featured on the lineup, including Kanye, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Crystal Castles, Sleigh Bells, Broken Social Scene, Wiz Khalifa & The National. Noticeably absent however: Daft Punk. You’d think that all the speculation about an upcoming Daft Punk tour, Coachella would be the perfect place to start it off.

Also, a Death from Above 1979 reunion?! Awesome.
