These days, it feels like everywhere you look you see things labeled “eco-friendly.” From reusable grocery bags
to ShitBeGone toilet paper (which by the way is made of 100% recycled materials), the consumer world has seemed to become a bit more resourceful with their raw materials. Art and culture, in the same light, isn’t too far behind.

On Sunday evening, fashion icon and revolutionary designer Yves St. Laurent passed away at the age of 71
following a long illness. Long considered to be a legend even among gods, St. Laurent has single handedly managed to rivet the eyes and the breath of the fashion world for over five decades. His most celebrated contributions include the first safari jacket for fashion, Le Smoking Jacket, and the famed cone bra (which propelled Madonna’s reputation as a taboo breaker).
