Here’s a remix of  electro duo Chromeo’s latest single “Hot Mess” featuring Elly Jackson (of La Roux fame). The remix was done by Duck Sauce, which is the moniker used by mega-DJs Armand van Helden and A-Trak.

Chromeo is set to start their North American tour later this month, along with MNDR and The Suzan. Be sure to check them out if you can!

For this week’s Remix Friday, we’ve got some tight jams that are sure to make their way onto your weekend playlist. The remixed tracks are songs originally done by MGMT, Drake, Justice, Wu-Tang, Kid Cudi, Ratatat, Kings of Leon, Phoenix, Imogen Heap, Feist, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The remixing artists are Chiddy Bang, Matamatics, Starters, Benny Benassi, DJ Slink, Alex Metric, Diplo, and A-Trak. Listen to all of them and enjoy.

Earlier today KiD CuDi’s “Make Her Say” music video was released by Universal Music Group. It’s the rising hip-hop star’s third music video out there, with the first two being “Day ‘n’ Nite,” and its Crookers remix counterpart. When I first heard “Make Her Say” back in May, I thought it was a hilarious, novelty song. Since then, it’s definitely grown on me, and I feel like the song is blowing up.  I mean, hey, with the unbelievably talented team of Kid CuDi, Kanye West, Common, and A-Trak, it’s pretty much expected that an amazingly hot song will be birthed. Check it out.

Just released earlier this week, Sky High, by DJ Benzi and Plain Pat features remixes of 18 well-known Kanye West tracks, including “Good Morning,” “Champion,” “Get ‘Em High,” “Love Lockdown,” and “Stronger.” The tracks on Sky High were plucked from all four of Kanye’s albums (The College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, and 808s & Heartbreak) as well as Estelle’s Shine. After giving this mixtape a couple of listens, it definitely ranks above some of the other Kanye West remix albums floating around out there. The best tracks on the mixtape are A-Trak’s remix of “Get ‘Em High” and “Stronger” as well as Discotech’s remix of “Homecoming,” which features Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
