This week in Mixtape Mondays, we have the third release in Joe Budden’s Mood Muzik series. On this mixtape, Joe Budden’s lyrical flow is mashed up with the tunes of trip-hop pioneers Portishead. Joe Budden’s 2003 single Pump It Up is a song that many have probably heard at one point in their lives. Budden’s Mood Muzik series of mixtapes have received much critical acclaim. In case you forgot, Portishead released such classic LPs as 1994’Dummy and 1997’s Portishead. Earlier this year, Portishead released their first album in over ten years, entitled Third.
