Just came across the video for “Pursuit of Happiness” by Kid Cudi feat. MGMT & Ratatat. This is off of Cudi’s Man on the Moon, which dropped last year. If you notice, that’s Drake standing next to Cudi. Why he’s in the video and MGMT/Ratatat aren’t I have no idea. I guess since Drake owned 2009, he gets to to whatever he wants.
Anyway, it’s a decent video, even though I’m not a big fan of the song. Check it out.

From what I understand from information at the time of release for the video, Ratatat and MGMT were not available for filming at the time, and there are no plans for the second version.
Yet I still can’t explain Drake. The video is still pretty decent, even without the band that made the beat sick and the duo that made the chorus sick.
agreed…the video made a song i just thought was aiiiiight a WHOLE lot better
1st- If you don.t like the song why even post/write an article about it. DUMBASS
2nd- KID CUDI is the best new artist to come out in years and going places, unlike you
3rd- MGMT/Ratatat are not in the video because they all had time conflict and couldn’t make a set time to all be in the video.
- why did you even post this? you do care for the song/artist/video. DO Your JOB AND STOP WASTING OUR TIME.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST DRAKE AND KID CUDI ARE FRIENDS. DOESN’T TAKE A GENIUS TO LEARN THAT.
he liked the video… thought that was stated? blogs are to inform and opine; i think the job’s been satisfied sufficiently.
exactly what I was thinking
I’m in love this song whether the video sucks or not
this guy’s just a fruit cake.
Hated the song but the vid was really cool, so I guess it balanced out.
