This is a piece that I really like.

It says “go to work, send your kids to school
follow fashion, act normal
walk on the pavements, watch T.V.
save for your old age, obey the law
Repeat after me: I am free”

This picture was taken from Philip Street in Bedminster, Bristol, UK. It is reminiscent of Radiohead’s “Fitter Happier” from the album OK Computer in the sense that they both talk about the growing materialism that is oh-so prevalent in today’s society. It is saying that we have sadly become a slave to everything that we own or that we are a part of. We think we are ‘free’ – but are we really?
