For the past 6 months, a rogue street artist nicknamed “The Decapitator” has been assaulting the streets of London with his unique brand of tag – mutating popular advertisements into headless corpses. There’s only one word to describe this – awesome. At the present moment, his identity is unknown, but he is definitely making a statement. Some may argue that the concept of shock value overlaying crass, in-your-face capitalism is nothing new. But, one thing that everyone can agree on is that this artist’s execution is truly original and spectacular. I tend to interpret these actions as one man’s response to the ever increasing shift that society is taking toward embracing materialism.

Here’s a video of him in action:

He needs to come to my city! Im so sick of seeing ads everywhere, at least if they were being “defaced”.. (refaced and beheaded more accurately
) people who are being constantly subconsciously bombarded by ads might stop and see them for what they are.
