Here’s one of my favorite new Hood Internet tracks— it’s got Berkeley-based rapper Lil’ B’s “Real Life” pitted against UK producer Gold Panda‘s “You.” As usual, The Hood Internet creates a killer mash-up, perfect for any dance party.
Producer Bangladesh Makes Lil' Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot' [VIDEO]
Bangladesh is the producer behind such rap superstars as Missy Elliot, P. Diddy, Beyoncé, Tyga, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj and many, many more. His beat-making career took off when he produced Ludacris’ hit single “What’s Your Fantasy“ in 2000. In 2008, Bangladesh produced Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli,” which became one of the most popular songs of the year.
Most recently, Bangladesh has been hard at work helping produce Lil’ Wayne’s upcoming album Tha Carter IV. In this video, we see Bangladesh producing the first single from Tha Carter IV, called “6 Foot 7 Foot,” which was released a few weeks ago. This beat on this song is amazing, which makes watching this video even better.
M.I.A.'s Vicki Leekx Mixtape

M.I.A. just dropped her latest mixtape, Vicki Leekx, as a free download on her site. Being the political person she is, M.I.A. chose the name Vicki Leekx due to the fact that it’s a play on the whistle-blower website WikiLeaks that’s been in the news recently.
The mixtape is definitely reminiscent of her most recent studio album Maya, which means that I’m a little disappointed. There’s a noticeable lack of catchy beats or lyrics; the whole thing just sounds rather flat, which is definitely surprising. You’d think that with fellow producers Diplo, Switch, Rusko & Blaqstarr helping out on the mixtape, the result would be nothing short of amazing. Check it out and decide for yourself.
Swedish Duo jj Releases Kills Mixtape
Check out the mixtape kills released by the Swedish duo jj. Comprised of Elin Kastlander and Joakim Benon, jj has a penchant for making electronic covers of popular rap and hip-hop songs. Their unique style caught the attention of Pitchfork, which gave their debut album an 8.6. They’ve even toured with The xx, back in March and April of this year.
Kanye West's Monster Music Video Leaks
Kanye West’s highly-anticipated music video for his hit song Monster, featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj, was leaked hours ago. Earlier this month, Kanye released a 35 second teaser for it, which drummed up a ton of controversy— namely because there appeared to be dead models all over the place. With the leak of the full video, we can see that those dead models are actually zombies. Awesome.
Take a look at the 1:55 mark to see a Justin Bieber lookalike getting attacked by zombies.
The audio quality is a little iffy, but that’s what we get for watching a leaked version of the video.
