Right now, you may be scratching your head, wondering what exactly constitutes “sticker culture.” Well, sticker culture can be categorized as an off-shoot of graffiti, wheat pasting, and other forms of street art. It’s fresh, ground-breaking, and setting the street art bar just a little bit higher. No longer bound to legendary figures like Shepard Fairey of “Andre the Giant Has a Posse” fame, sticker designs come from all manner of places and all kinds of skill. From hand drawn pieces on USPS labels, to high-quality vinyl prints, artists all across the globe create and trade stickers with one another.

In somewhat of a shocking revelation, Jetcomx has learned that artist Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam, aka M.I.A., is pregnant with her very first child. The reports were confirmed when pictures and video surfaced of her with a baby bump. The father of the baby is fiancé Ben Brewer, the front-man of New York City-based rock band _The Exit. The details of her pregnancy were leaked during an exclusive interview on PitchforkTV, the sister site of the highly influential indie-music website. As if there was any doubt about the pregnancy, in the video interview taped before her Saturday night performance at Diesel’s XXX Party, the singer stated that she was currently “creating a baby.” She also brought up the fact that,

For the second time in the Mixtape Mondays segment we’ve decided to feature Ratatat. This time around, it’s their second self-released remix album. Previously, it was only available at their live shows. The 14 tracks on Ratatat Remixes Volume 2 include mixes of vocals from a multitude of artists, including Notorious B.I.G., Kanye West, The Game, Ludacris, Memphis Bleek, T.I., Young Buck, Juvenile and Jay-Z. Several of the tracks feature beats from the 9 Beats set of leaked demos as their backing music.
