Morfąi's Statue Shadow Graffiti Plants Stars in Lithuania
The idea behind shadow graffiti is really quite simple. First, you find an item or object that casts a clear, discernible shadow onto a wall or the pavement. Then, you tag the hell out of that area with something totally unique. Finally, you wait for people to take notice. In these pictures we see a piece entitled “Seeder” created by graffiti artist Morfąi in Kaunas, Lithuania. When viewed in the proper conditions at night, it looks as if the statue is planting stars and crescent moons as seeds. Check out the brainstorming video below.
Elbow Song Featured in Coen Brothers New Burn After Reading Trailer
In the trailer for the new Coen brothers dark-comedy, Burn After Reading, the song Grounds for Divorce by Elbow is wholeheartedly featured throughout. When I first saw the Burn After Reading trailer, this track stuck in my head immediately. There’s no denying that it’s a great, catchy song. That’s presumably the reason why the Coen brothers decided to go with this song in the first place. As for Elbow, in case you didn’t know, they’ve been playing together for over 18 years. An interesting fact about these guys is how they were named from dialogue in the BBC TV show The Singing Detective. In that show, the characters said that “elbow” was the most sensual word in the English language, not because of its definition, but because of how it feels to say it. Right. Check out sweet the music video.
